On Easter Sunday we Skyped with Edward's paternal grandparents, their first live view of him (though he was asleep and not moving much), and then with his maternal great grandmother. All were delighted to see Edward looking fighting fit, and we'd like to do regular Skypes to keep in touch.
In the afternoon Ed had his first official engagement, Easter Sunday lunch at our neighbors' house. Edward was wide awake by this time and much admired by all. He behaved impeccably throughout the event, through two diaper changes using their upstairs bathrooom, and a feeding for which Beth took him home to the feeding station, and then when it came time for his second feed we decided to call it a day.
As a consequence of all this excitement or otherwise, Ed slept fitfully through much of the evening, on and off in short patches with diaper changes and feedings and much holding by mum, but then stayed awake from 2am to 4am. Or so I'm told, as I was zonked through much of the night, taking charge of Edcare around 6am.
A note on the picture slideshow at the top - it'll hold the most recent 100 pictures, and my latest additions have taken us to 98 pictures, so pretty soon the earliest will no longer show.
