On Saturday we went to two consignment sales currently going on in Eugene. These consignment sales are for baby- and toddler-related stuff, including lots of clothing, toys, carrying wraps and strollers, and pretty much anything you might want to buy for your child. They have these every six months, so this is the first time we were able to take Edward along externally.
We mostly bought clothing this time, for $2 - $4 an item or set. I've arranged them into outfits, but they weren't all sold as outfits. Another monkey top, and we also like sea- or ocean-themed tops as we're relatively close to the Pacific Ocean.
Hmm, stripes with stripes is a bit too much, and actually they're not the same age range anyway. The blue top came with the blue shorts and green top, the green shorts were separate.
A dinosaur romper suit and a beach-style top and shorts.
On the left a couple of swim items, Beth couldn't resist the little fish top, and the swim-nappy should be useful in the garden this Summer. To the right a couple of thin sleeveless suits for keeping him cool in the hottest weather.
Out-of-focus dino top, yay.
Long sleeve sporty top and a couple of pairs of trousers. The space monster pants are identical to a set he's already worn (bit long in the leg), but I like them so we got duplicates these for $2.
We also found a yellow-striped monkey-with-banana top and grey shorts, identical to the one we bought on clearance sale from Fred Meyer on Friday for $9, but this time for $4. No need for two identical sets, so we're returning the Fred Meyer one to get our $9 back.
At the consignment sale we also got a second play mat, mostly for the horseshoe cushion it included and a few extra toys, and a black Mayan one-shoulder wrap baby carrier for me (Beth has one in cream).
What a lot of great finds! I missed the big baby consignment sale here this weekend (they do it a few times a year, so I'll try again). They grow so fast, it's not worth buying all new.
