On Wednesday we took Edward along to a Baby Connection event, which is held every Wednesday from 11am to noon, and accepts babies (accompanied by parents) from birth to three years of age.
Of course we're not expecting Edward to get anything out of this yet, but we were hoping to meet some other parents with babies around the same age, and we did. One baby there, James, shared the same birthday, and another, Zed, was about a week younger, but sporting a mop of hair that mamny babies do not achieve for a year or more.
We chatted mostly with the parents of these two boys, had our picture taken with Edward, and had him weighed, though this merely confirmed our own weghing of the night before was correct, and we'll probably skip that in future. Beth got some breastfeeding advice from a lactation consultant, nothign we hadn't been told before really, but it's useful to get in-person advice to keep on the right track.
Ed drew many admiring comments as usual, continues to pack on ounces at a very healthy rate, and slept through the entire event.
