Hello! We have a ton of new quick videos of Ed. Here's a summary of the best ones.
He's recently added slides to his repertoire of things he can handle by himself. Here, he practices at a local indoor playground, but a group of parents are infatuated with him and are cheering him on. He doesn't quite know what to make of this attention:
He has also discovered the laundry chute, and enjoys adding to the pile in the laundry room. Unfortunately he adds toys.
He enjoys things that move in and out of his field of vision, like my feet on a swing:
He is a HUGE fan of water. If it is water, he wants to be involved. No matter where he is, what he is wearing, what the temperature is, or what is already in the water! Here are six videos of our Little Fish in his natural habitat.
We went to the park one morning. They had turned on the fountain. Despite the air temperature being mid to upper 60s, Ed WOULD NOT be denied a chance to play in the water.
Not satisfied with the clean water, Ed follows up with a splash in a mud puddle, much to the consternation of some onlooking children. Not pictured - he later chooses to crawl underneath that metal structure on the left, in his very own Tough Mudder assault course.
We let him go back into this fountain to try to get all the muddy bark chips off of him. He...didn't want to come get dried off.
Regardless of attire, if you present Ed with a body of water he will immerse himself! He has been known to spill a glass of water just so he can roll in the resulting puddle. I am sometimes presented with extremely damp hugs when I get home from work.
And finally, this hose was surprisingly popular. He got upset when we turned the water off at dinnertime. He kept shaking it to try and get more water to come out.
