Water, water everywhere...

Show Edward a muddly puddle with floaty bits and he'll lie down in it.

Happily for our waterbaby this paddling pool reopened for the Summer yesterday, and stays open until late August. Children must be accompanied by an adult, but the adult is only allowed to enter the pool to rescue a fallen or unhappy toddler. There are two lifeguards on duty during the opening hours, daily 1:30-4:30pm

Ed had the pool to himself (plus one parent and two lifeguards) for about 3/4 of an hour before James (plus two parents) arrived to join him. We plan to make this at least a weekly visit, probably more often, as the weather dictates. As you can see the pool is kept beautifully clean, constantly scooped for fallen leaves, and is enclosed by a chainlink fence so that even the fastest dual-citizen child cannot escape far. Above all, it's free!
