Halloween 2012

We had a choise of several different outfits for Edward for Halloween, but this one seemed the best fit. About an hour before dark we heard on the local TV news that the two local malls were holding their annual trick-or-treat evenings, so on the spur of the moment we headed down to the Valley River Mall to join in the fun.

We took the Cars ride on as that was easier than carrying the 21+ pounder, and a few other parents though it a very good idea, particularly those carrying heavy babies in their arms.  Edward was the youngest baby we saw not being carried, but travelling on his own conveyance. There were plenty of tots in strollers, but the ride-on allowed greater access and visibility.

We had a matchign ghost candy bucket for Ed, and he started out holding it, but before long started lifting it up to chew on the rim, and consequently tipping the candy out on the floor, sow e removed the candies regularly. He won't get to eat any of it this year of course, but we shall eat it for him.

Showing interest in the colorful and crinkly things in the bucket.

As the evening wore on Ed got more laid back. As it was raining quite heavily most of the evening we were glad to keep him (& me) indoors, as we're all in various stages of colds or recovery.

Proud dad with chillin' son.

Worn out.
