One of the things we liked about Eugene is the existence of a few Irish music sessions scattered around town. We've not had the chance to go to them for a long time, but we want to expose Edward to music, so we went to one last night to see what he thought.
He was entranced for a good hour, staring around at all of the instruments and never making a sound. He seemed to particularly like the guitar, possibly because of the motion of the strumming hand.
Eventually his attention was drawn by the harp:
After that he noticed my bag of whistles and would not be satisfied until he had one:
Eventually it was his bedtime, and we had to go. He was hungry and needed a diaper change and had been up too long - and he never complained once. He was having too much fun! I think we may have a miniature sessioneer on our hands!
