The long days of summer are not long enough to manage blog posts, it seems. But here are some photos of the kids playing in this nice weather.
Dominic loves to swing, though perhaps not to quite the extreme that Eddie took it. Here he is at the park:
His biggest draw seems to be slides. He's always trying to either go up them or down them. Sometimes he attempts to go up but ends up going down shortly afterward.
We haven't done nearly as many bike rides as we would have liked, since the weather has been so hot. As the temperatures turn more autumnal we will try to get out a bit more on the weekends.
Seven teeth; the eighth is still working its way out.
Eddie loves chasing bubbles. And eating them, and then informing us that they don't taste good. And then eating more of them, because she can.
Dominic strikes a pose. No idea what he was in the middle of doing here, but I find it hilarious.
Eating apples off of our fledgling apple tree, which currently produces more apples than it can support and then pulls the plug on them halfway through the growing season. I guess there are some kinks to work out there.
For Eddie, swinging is serious business. Also, these swings can flip over so we have to be within arm's reach. Eddie tries to flip hers on purpose sometimes.
The scab is from an unexpected gravity fluctuation that Dominic experienced on the patio nearly a week earlier. The incident may or may not have involved sibling assistance.
And finally....a shot where Martin caught the exact moment that Dominic bumped his head on the arch of the slide.
