The Only Way is UP!

We've had a few words out of Edward like Mama and Dada, but have never been really sure if he was just saying sounds while we were present.

Yesterday though, in front of half a dozen witnesses, only two of which are under 2 years old, he clearly used the word UP in context, either wanting to be lifted up, of because he was climbing up.

Is this his first true contextual unprompted word? Possibly though I still think that observing his Daddy and saying DaDaDa ought to count, not to mention chasing the cats with a loud ca ca CA.

He can add this spoken word to the 26 or so signs that he uses, including please and thank you, the latter always accompanied by a loud percussive 'ck'.
